A few of us Hoosier's are going to try and get one last Michigan
ride in this year, in the Muskegon area, and I was wondering if any
body knows the condition of the Cedar Creek Loops. They're fun loops but can get pretty whooped out.
Also, according to the CCC wed site it appears the west half of the Holton Loop is now open - can somebody please confrim.

Thanks,

Curt,

The Cedar Creek loop is almost always whooped up. Last I rode it was about a month ago, and I've seen it worse than it was.

A couple years ago, mine were the first tracks after the groomer had been through. Boy are those loops fast then!

Yes, part of the Holton loop is opened back up!! If you've ridden it before and liked it, I'd go right there first!

Have a great ride!

Next year, consider coming up for the Michigan Trail Rider Trailfest (read the thread further down). You'll really enjoy it!

Rode Cedar Creek two weeks ago, its about normal maybe a little better then usual. It has not been groomed recently I know that. The rain has helped with traction and almost no dust last ride. You should try the Horseshoe Lake loop, its always fun.

Holton in a couple of years so I think we'll give it a try today.
