CR80 oil leak

I know that they are prone to leaking around the flange, but does putting on the upgraded exhaust flange stop the problem or does it just keep me from seeing it? Which would make rejetting the only option. I was also going to weld two more brackets for two more springs which should help.

Not sure how that one is made exactly, but the high temp copper colored RTV fixed the leak on my RM.

why not just either try the liquid stuff that robwright speaks of or try some chamber seal - you might be able to find that at your dealership

I agree with hi temp rtv. I have used it on the cr 80 with success. The Honda gasket is worthless.
