crakling and misfiring WOT help (eric gore)
hi there guys, i have a 1999 kawasaki kx125 and when i was riding in the weekend it started to misfire and crack up just a little bit when i have it 3/4 throttle in 4th 5th and 6th gear, i was riding on a beach and some guys think it is because small 2-strokes cant handle the load, but the sand was hard, another guy says it is a sign of detonation due to a lean condition, or the plug cap cant handle the load at higher revs, the engine was fully rebuilt with about 12 hrs on it. could it be the electrics or jetting or something.
my jets are 155, 42, im running repsol moto 2t competition premix oil with normal 96 pump gas, on 40:1, with a ngk iridium BR9EIX spark plug, the bike has no engine mods.
