I just got the engine apart and have the skirt for the piston was gone. The cylinder wall did not have any gouges that were too noticable, but when i took it to the local stealership to have them look they told me it would need to be replated. How do i know for sure? he told me he could see gouges and some waves but they were hard to see.

anyways. who do ya'll send it to and roughly how much (i heard around 200ish for a replate)

also, what kind of prep work needs to be done on the cylinder before it gets sent of?

thanks
