I Just moved to Flag from Phoenix and am hunting for some nice, long technical trails to ride (of course the forest is currently closed...) Also looking for experienced locals to ride with. Anyone?

not all the forest is closed. just everything north and east of 60/260. go to goazriding.com and they have a link to the forestry clossure notice but some of AZ is still open.

ALL of Coconino forest is closed, which is ALL of Flagstaff. Even the "Cinders" OHV area is closed. Prescott forest is closed too (including Crown King). White Mountains? forget it -- it's already burning. I can go riding in Phoenix, but why? Its too hot and too far away.

Question is, who rides in Flagstaff that is familiar with Flagstaff-area trails? The rain is coming (had a nice down pour Tues night) and the forest will soon reopen.
