Wow that was quick. Did you have quick post waiting?

BTW people whine if you don't tell them it's a spoiler in the title.

Milton-It's on live webcast right now. And you're right about the "spoiler" disclaimer. This thread may disappear because of that.

Does anybody know why Pastrana pulled off in the 1st moto?? CHad Reed had a hell of a race in the 2nd moto, wasnt even in the top 20 on the 1st lap, then ended up finishing 3rd overall??

Brownie putting it to the wonder kid!!!! There will be no lapping of the champ out doors :p Oh man this is going to be a great year in the 125 class. RC is making the 250 guys look bad. I was realy hoping that Seb would bring it to RC this year. I know its just the first round but it looks like RC is going to walk again.

Wasn't Cooper in the top 10 in the 2nd moto for awhile?? I almost saw him win a supercross way back, but Jeff Matasavich took him out on the last lap and The Dr (Doug Dubach) won.. Right on Cooper!!

I wouldn't call giving up 6 points to the guy with the big number ONE on his plate for a plaque smart. Brown rode like a true champ in the first moto 40 to 10 and beat Bubba straight up in moto 2 :)

 Stewart still got the win. He got 47 points to Browns 36. The gamble to get 6 points wasn't worth going down. Consistency wins championships. He learned that in SX.

There is only one RC

Bubba did great along with Brownie, Reed and Langston.
However when you analyze the lap times Bubba went from
2:99 out to 3:08s in the 2nd moto, along with some others.
RC went from 2:99 to 3:00 both motos rough or not. His
victory lap in the first moto was a 3:02 while waving. So
you can see the pace RC runs compared to the others, the
125 class should prove interesting while the 250 is another
walkover for RC. I still cannot believe the fans booing an
incredible rider like RC.

Bubba was fast and it appeared as if Kawi put him in cruise mode after Langston went down. I think Bubba could've tried for the pass. He was right on Brown's rear wheel for a lap after 111 fell, then he just backed off. It was a win/win for Kawi and Pro-Circuit.

They announced right before the second moto that Travis had a mechanical problem in the first moto. He rode the entire second moto, so I'll buy that story.

Bubba and RC are just plain fast. The only really exciting race of the day was the second 125 before Langston went down. There weren't many important passes. Ferry did put in some good rides though and got around Tortelli at the end of the day.

Those hills are amazing. Most mortals wouldn't ski down them and the uphill portion of Mt. Yamaha is as steep as the orginal Widowmaker. If you've seen "On Any Sunday" lately, you'll remember that the first guy to ever climb it is on the video. Now we have 80's racing up an almost equivalent hill.

RC should move back to the 125 class. It looks like that's the only place he'll find any competitiion. :scream:

I was supprised at how well Langston did. I guess I should have expected him to do this well. But for a guy that just had surgery a few weeks ago and has had a string of bad luck and a lot of injuries he did real well. KTM is lucky they got to keep him for a couple more years. He is the real deal.....

As for Bubba... He did as well as I figured he would. Talk about a phenom....

Its gonna be an awsome season... I just love the Outdoor Nationals....

Seems the 125 class is turning into the premier class......

He would have his hands full.... Not like the cake walk he has in the 250 class......

I haven't seen the official lap times but they were talking about Brown moving form dead last 37th up 20+ spots over the loudspeaker and they commented how his last lap time was 1 second faster than Stewart's. He was mid-pack mind you while Stewart was maintaining a blowout lead at the time. Perhaps Bubba was riding smart & sandbagging (cruising) a bit at that point and on the second moto b/c he really didn't challenge Brown, but Brown did look good. You just can't by watching how much is strategy vs. endurance. Langston looked great too. Too bad he couldn't keep it upright. I figured Reed would have been a little more dominant as well. Should be a good season for 125's.

I bet Carmichael could win the 125 class with just as much ease. Remember last year in his 125 race how much faster he was than Brown and Langston. How he goes that fast is beyond me.

Hey EXCman don't you ever check the lap times in these races? Last year RC was 3 seconds a lap faster than Langston and Brown at Steel City in his only 125CC ride. The 125 class did not come close to his times nor Tortelli's either. There is not one rider in the 125 class who can beat Tortelli outdoors, he just has the misfortune of competing against RC. On the last moto of the day at Glen Helen with the roughest
track RC was blowing all the 125s away on lap times. 3 to 5 seconds a lap! 250 is the premier class and the 125 is still an entry level into pro racing. Can you name one rider who has started in the 250 class instead of the 125 class in modern motocross? But I can name you a
few who have gone back when they get long in the tooth! How about Larry Ward winning an event last year! RC is just so dominant he makes the 250 class look easy but it is the hardest by far.
