I've been building a few jumps for my '96 XR 250 :p (stock suspension) and was wondering about little tricks that make jumps good. How big can I go before I need a slope to land down (not flat landing). Any pictures???? Thanks for any help! *Winter Rules*

If it's too big to flatland, it's too big.

This question really is a preference thing I guess, but look at the picture at the link below. If that isn't too long for a flat landing then I don't know what is. Personally, I've never flown that far except on an airplane, landing ramp or no landing ramp.

build it up until the landing starts to get really harsh. then build a landing mound where you are landing
