kdx 220 vs ktm 300exc

Any ideas on which is better. I know that the KDX hasn't changed much but I know its a mean machine. What I don't know is how it compares to KTM. Incite on price comparison, reliability, general knowledge. Thanks for the help.

I have had the opportunity to ride both.You can not compare the two.The kdx is a really great bike for tight twisty trails and a good bike all around.The ktm 300 is ALOT more power,WAY better suspension and alot better bike for more experienced riders.In my opinion the kdx would be a good begginer/novice bike.

I have owned and raced 9 KDX 200's over the years. I now ride a 300 EXC. The E can be compared to a KDX 200 on steroids. Good low end, lots of mid pull and hold on for a top end that never ends. The faster you ride it the better it handles, unlike the 200's. KDX's are great bikes but need a few mods and dollars to compete with a stock KTM.
