i'm new here on this forum.

i work from home, and like to find someone that can trail ride during the week, since i can get away anytime i like.
i'm game for the weekends too, but it's nice to be able to pick good cond/weather days during the week to go....

i live in SW Mi. and looking to do some single track riding as far up as, say Cadillac.

I ride a KTM 250XC-W and like to ride singtracks fast.

There is an up-and-coming Harescramble close to home. The Battle Creek Motorcycle club is hosting a round of the AMA D14 series on Sept 19th. They have an awesome facility and arguably one of the best tracks. Their course will run between 8-10 miles. Numerous classes to run; lots of single track. You'll meet a good number of folks, many of whom live in the area (me) and ride!

The club is also open to membership.....something to think about?

There also is a Family Enduro (FES) on Sept. 11 very good trail total of roughly 43 miles. You will enjoy it very much open to anyone with a bike. http://www.d14enduro.org/flyers/2010/2010_baby_bear_enduro_flyer.pdf
Give me a call if you have any questions. (989)889-5071 Mike

Dave,

I'm not part of the BC club,....sorry if I mislead you. I live in the area and enjoy the facility (which is probably the closest facility to you). The series is made up of some great people, all of whom enjoy the type of riding you are talking about. Just thought it might provide you with another source of people who live close by and ride woods.

Yes, BC does use their mx track. Their track does feature some typical MX obsticles. They usually route the riders onto a portion of the track, then hit 3-4 miles of single track, then back onto the track for another small portion of mx, and so on. Their jumps are rollers/table tops.

Yes, I can ride during the week. I have a very flexible schedule. I took the majority of the summer off, but I plan on being at Battle Creek for their event.

Hope you find what you're looking for and have a blast doing it!
