my bike ticks

my bike was rebuilt a year ago, and it ticks. its got an oversized piston so that cant be the problem. i was thinking it could be the lifters. i know noone can know for sure what it is without hearing it and stuff.

xr250r. If you have not adjusted your valves since the bike was rebuilt a year ago, that would be the first thing to check. :cool:

Yeah, 4-stroke and ticking just mean the valves are a little out of adjustment. Simple to fix but don't ignore it.
