My new Bieffe helmet doesn't fit?

Last helmet I purchased was about 10 years ago. It was a Med. Bieffe. So I figure I would order a new one online to save, same brand. I ordered a Med. Bieffe X Tech. Now it is tight and has padding around my cheecks- I can hardly talk. Are helmets designed differently today? Whats up?

Yes, Technology has changed. It sounds like its a little to tight. You want a helmet to fit pretty snug. that helmet will more than likely brake in and loosen up a bit. Mine was pretty tight when I got, but it fits great now. IT never realy crushed my cheeks though. I would suggest going to a shop (with some knedgeable help) and fitting for a helmet. Get one that fits right and return the one that doesn't
