Hello, I am new to this forum, trying to figure something out and figured I would try here (saw the vintage forum section and it gave me hope).

Anyways, I picked up an old dirtbike to teach my fiancee how to ride, but I am having trouble figuring out what the heck it is.

It's an old Kawasaki 100cc two stroke. Sticker says it was manufactured 12/70, and the vin is G4-026525. It's in surprisingly good shape for being this old. Needs a couple of small fixes and it's ready to go, figured finding out what it is would be a good first step. The clutch cable is broken and the throttle assembly is broken. Not sure if I'll be able to find parts or not, figured I would at least try since I suck at fabrication.

Thanks for any help!

Sounds like a 1971 G4TR Trail Boss 100. Not sure if it shares parts with the KE100. If so, you might be in luck as they made many of those, all the way up to the late 1990's.

Look at the VIN, it's also a G4 so yes, the parts will fit. E down by the Bay would be the way to go to find your parts. Dealers sometimes will still carry old parts so it never hurts to ask.
