So, since October or so, I've been looking for a used 250F, with the naive idea that there just might be one out there that I could buy for a fair price without it being complete and utterly used up junk.
I've looked at 4 so far, traveling over 4 hours for each one, and the results go a little like this:
1 - Junk
2 - Bent everywhere but the newly replaced handlebars
3 - Won't start on a 70 degree day
4 - Thrashed, abused and the valves are slapping the piston
I guess "cleanest bike in the area" doesn't mean what it used to.
I had such good luck finding my 150R :bang:
Any other good bike-purchase horror stories??
