Yamaha 125 the kickstart bar broke in half

Was kicking through my daughters bike to get it started after storage, I ended up breaking the shaft in half (it just snapped).
How hard is this to fix? Can I just buy a new shaft and put it on?

If it didn't break off flush with the clutch cover, you could probably have it welded. If it broke flush, replace it.

just get a new one there like 30 bucks that metal doesn't weld nice the welds kept breaking for me
