99 cr250 jug - what reeds?

I have bought a 99 cr 250 jug for my 2001 cr250 after reading erics book and was wondering what reeds to get for it? should it be the reeds for the 99 or the 2001? thanks

I do know they will fit but why is it that boysen super stock reeds go from 99-0, the power reeds go 99-00, and the pro reeds 99-00 :coocoo:

i think older cr's were 4 petal reeds and the newer ones are 6 petal.i thought you meant will the cages interchange... they will, but oviously you will have to order the appropriate reeds for the cage you have. :cool:

if your gonna use the jug on your 01,why not just use the 01 reeds.they chip pretty easily,but replacement from boyesen are cheap and last a bit longer...IMO :cool:
