Nice peaceful, reflective moments, priceless. This is why I enjoy fishing. It sure as hell is not the out of state fishing license and the speeding fees in that state! And they have some killer tracks, 1 engine builder, 1 cylinder plater, 1 old guy, and cheese and beer. And Nueskes bacon of course! The last time I was up fishing at Leech Lake around 2000, been too long. Vintage Bob

Thanks everyone. It is my place of solitude. Get a birch fire going at night and watch the stars. Hang some bacon strips on a stick and life is good!

Me and my brother tried stocking the pond but the Otters ended up appreciating our efforts.

Thunder Lake may well be one of the better Bass lakes around.

I can't think of anything better to do than to sit on a pier at sunset breathing in the aroma of pine and a freshwater lake.
Add to that scenario the tranquil call of a Lake Loon. The call
of the wild beckons me once again.....
