Cometic head gasket

i'm putting on a new cometic head gasket today for my cr144. But i was wondering should i be paying attenton to what side is up. The gasket is not mark but their are indentations on it. Can't remember if it matters. What brought it to my attention was when i look up the torque specs for the head bolts in my service manual, i noticed the stock honda head gasket has a side labeled up.

Anyone know i would like to finishing putting the bike together today instead of calling cometic and doing this week

can you match it up too your old gasket? if so, try that..

If it were installed wrong, more than likely the bike would of overheated
