hard shifting after oil change

Why is it that after I change the oil my bike becomes hard to shift? This isn't a one-time thing, it happens every time. I always use Maxima 80wt and for the 1st couple of races when I try to shift I'll find I'm still in the same gear. After a couple of races it smoothes out and no more miss-shifts.
In another words what happens to make it start shifting smoother after the oil has been run in there a while? It's got me puzzled, anyone have an idea or experience the same?

I know how you feel the same thing was happening to me with my CR125 and I was running Bel-Ray 80W Gear Saver and was missing shifts and such untill I went to 75W and haven't had a problem since (also 85W cleared it up also).
