Jim Pomeroy

In a recent newsletter from my Vintage MX club, they are looking for expressions of interest to attend an MX school be held by Jim Pomeroy on Queenslands' Gold Coast here in Australia.

I was just wondering if anone here at DRN has attended any of his coaching clinics in America?

I don't know much about him, other than he was a multiple world MX champion back in the 70's and rode for Bultaco and later Honda.

Mr. Grinch, Jim Pomeroy lives relativly near me and I run into him every year here at the Ahrma nationals at 'The Farm". He is without a doubt old school and a hoot to be around, he would fit right in with a bunch of Aussies for sure. He rarely if ever brings a bike of his own but ends up having someone "lend" him one which he then proceeds to trash. I would take advice from him any day!!
