I have an 87 KX125 that just will not start by kicking it!:(
I just put a new piston ring an gaskets on it. I can squirt
starting fluid in the plug hole and on the plug and it will then start and run fine. One it starts once, it will restart every time after that! Any ideas what to check as to why it won't start the first time?? Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks!!

have you checked the compression of it after your top end rebuild? If it just started this after your top end then obviously something didn't work correctly. Try a fresh plug and some fresh gas also.

Thanks for the help. I will try both of these. I really need a new carb, but just can't afford it right now.
