Does anyone know the diff between the 2? I can get an 02 left over pretty cheap. But if it is a huge diff in performance or whatever, might as well get the 03, ya know? Post back-

oneof the biggest differences is that the 03 is supposed to have less offset on the triple clamps and a lowered subframe, both of which i did to my 02 and would recommend. Since the 02 is a great bike and you can do the above for 400 bucks or so, it depends on how good a deal you are getting.

The 03s really dont have that much done to them except the triple clamps, and the bigger front axle. I assume that the forks are probably the sames ones that you could have bought off of KTMs hard part catalog for like $1500 in 02 and then it required upgrading to a new bigger axle ala the 03. KTM is funny if you want the next years model early just buy the crap from their 03 catalog and get the 03 race team graphics in January, early 04s. I only wish that they would have gone to the new plastic like the 200/250 SX. Personally I am hanging onto my 02 cause it aint worth the money to upgrade. If you arew buying a new one and have a choice get the 03 why buy something to spend $400 upgrading if the money will buy you a new model.

I have the 2002 SX125 , its a great tool but missing the bottom and mid range on tite tracks , have now tried the 2003 on the same track (borrowed) , personally found it easier due to the gearing but other than that nout to choose between em , I reckon for the extra bucks buy a 2002 and chuck some money at a bottom/mid range pipe or kit.

Hope it helps

PS: Best investment on SX125 - sort out the suspension...mega benefits
