Pokie,
My release papers, kind of sounds like I'm getting out of jail for a day! Anyway, the good old usps web site shows my release papers were signed/delivered for today at 1:02 PM. Just waiting for the official yes next to my name. :thumb:

My papers should be there... They were sent Fed X the last week of August. One note... I had a form in there for my son Jared just in case my better half would allow me to take him along.... but no deal. She will not allow me to take him out of school.

Okie Dokie. :)

Anyway I guess my number is 047 now that Stan Flemmings is coming.. He got the 47 first. I just used that one because it's my age so 047 will work. Refer to the "0" as in "Old 47" Next year I'll be number 48 and so on...

Okie...nice job on the 9-11 intro today.

Se you in Oklahome real soon.

WOW! I just looked at page one, and the list is HUGE!

Uh, #39 is "Miss DRN". Who's that? Will there be a swimsuit competition? Should I bring a Bert Parks CD?

Uh-oh. I don't know whether to be happy or afraid. Does she have any 'special' requirements?

I'll be happy to escort any woman who can afford me. :yeehaw:

Wow...
It looks like we had a great turnout for DW registration! I would have bet a few more this year, but it think the number is great just the same.
When you look at last years photo, you really get a feeling for just how special the event is. This years group photo should be fantastic.
Pokie, this has been one of the more interesting threads for me. I keep saying: "Yeah, I gotta meet that person...and that one...and yes I gotta say hey to that one this year too..." etc.

I am just curious though, at just what number did Bob stop sweating?....and I know he was sweating as many wait till last minute and all.
:)

Looking forward to a week of comradere!

Oh and btw....Great job once again Marcel!

thanks Jaybird..... it is actually fun to watch the progress over a 3-month period. I am glad they don't all decide to sign up during the same wek!
what we lost in participants from the Midwest and Northeast is made up by TX, OK and MO...... We achieved our aim of making DW accessible to more from the South and Southwest......although I am surprised by the small number of Californians..... must be because Aimee is not there to spur things on?
