Gilmer Riding Trip

My son and I are thinking about a trip to Glimer this weekend. He has to go back to school on the 15th so this is a good weekend in the heat. We are talking the weekend so we can ride Saturday night and Sunday morning. Nothing frim yet but looking pretty good.

Is anyone interested. I will try to find a camping area in the back under some trees. If someome is interested, I will PM them with my cell so they can find us. I think I can get cell coverage up on top OK (roaming if I remember).

I'd love to join you, but I'm spending the next couple of weekends rebuilding the top-end on my son's XR250. It will be a 280 when I'm done, and he's looking forward to more power. I'm hoping it will postpone the move to a faster bike!

Gilmer is a great place. Have fun!

I did not make it either. The plans started falling apart as the week progressed. :ahhh: Maybe I will make it to Gilmer later in the fall.
