Ohlins suspension

I have a chance to buy a complete set up for my KX250, fork and shock, still brand new in the original packaging. The guy that owns them weighs nearly the same as me and is at about the same skill level, so they are probably in the right ballpark for me. He wants $1500 for everything, but I'm sure I can talk him down. So my question is, are Ohlins suspension components really all they are reputed to be? Would I be happy with it, or is it just hype?

Good quality , but you will probably have to do some tuning to make them 100%
