SX at Ford Field

We're in along with a couple of our friends and maybe Phil's brother. Who else is going?

What hotels are right by the field? I tried to do a search on Expedia, but Ford Field was not listed as an "attraction".

I'm hoping we can score some SX after party tickets :aj:

I know it's a few months away still....but I want to get our hotel figured out ahead of time.

my bro-in-law is mgr. at fishbones they have a hotel. i would not stay in detroit unless planned on spending some cash for possibly a casino hotel. im pretty familiar with the area since i grew up in Redford which borders DET . the best thing to do would be goto yellow pages dotcom or mapquest??
if nothing in detroit suits you i would recommend a 25 minute ride out of the city to Novi . they have everything you may want

I agree. From Novi you can be there in 20-30 minutes. Just follow us.

I've stayed at this hotel, it's also right across from the casino. Darn, can't remember the name of the hotel right now. It's a nice place, but the walls in the rooms are a little thin.... ;)

And of course you can't beat Fishbones for great food! Greektown's right down the block.

So Detroit is a bad idea then...okay guess I'll check out Novi and other surrounding areas. We just don't want to get lost in Detroit after the races and trying to figure out the easiest route to a hotel. Thanks guys..

The race in ford field should be interesting. the staduim is smaller than the silverdome. I don't have to worry about a hotel. I live 30 min away.
